HI! My name is Thalia, and I'm new to blogging...I might not be terrific at it yet, but just bear with me for a while. Wondering about the title? As you should probably know, it is the opening line of Charles Dicken's A Tale of Two Cities. It also completely sums up my life right now. Some things are ah-mazing: my grades are good (and my math grade is finally a B!), my friendships are (mostly) ok, and I'm in my school play. But everything has a bit of a down side too. My friends seem to do everything without me, I got cast in one of the choruses in the play and am in ONE SCENE, midterms are lurking in the distance, and to top it all off, I'm applying to a zillion different high schools, so I am worried about getting in...and the fact that my clingy (no offense!) friends aren't going to take it well when I tell them. But that's life, right? Ups, downs, highs, lows, peace of mind, and mental breakdowns all mixed together. Call me the Bumpersticker Blogger, but it's completely true!
