YAY!!!! I should probably explain my happiness...today we got our midterm exams back, hence the title of this blog. This is the opening line from Their Eyes Were Watching God (needless to say, I have embraced the book title as blog title thing. I just want to say that I have read all of the books I'm quoting! If I didn't I'd feel too pretentious), and it reminds me of that split-second after the teacher calls your name, right before your grade is announced. It is completely agonizing, and all your hopes are riding on the next words out of his/her mouth. ANYWAY, since our exams finished yesterday, we got the day off, and just had to go in in the morning to get our grades. I got an A in everything but math, (hey, like six other kids and I take Algebra 1 Honors with the 9th grade, despite being in 8th grade, and I've never been fabulous at math) which I got a B in. To celebrate the end of our hectic, horrible, and highly stressful week, my best friend Olivia and I went to the spa, which is reallyreally expensive/exclusive, so our moms only treat us to it a few times a year. I got a  facial, eyebrow wax, and mani-pedi (in essie hucklebuckle, my absolute favorite nail polish color), hence my rejuvenation. Please don't think I'm a spoiled brat...I'm honestly not! This is an EXTREMLEY rare privelage/treat. Anyway, hope everyone did OK on their exams!! Enjoy the snow
